What do dancers cost in 2026?

From a single show-stopping solo to a full choreographed production — here is what hiring professional dancers realistically costs for your event.

Dancer

Professional dancers bring movement, colour and energy that photographs — and guests — never forget. In the UK, a solo dancer typically charges €200 to €400 for two short sets, while a choreographed show team of four ranges from €800 to €1,600 depending on the production.

The ranges below are indicative from-prices in euros. Costumes, choreography and rehearsal time all shape the final quote, which you agree directly with the act — EntertainerShow adds no commission and takes nothing from the artist's fee.

What affects the price of dancers?

  • The number of dancers — fees scale per performer, plus choreography time for the group
  • Bespoke choreography and rehearsals versus an existing repertoire show
  • Costumes, props and technical extras such as LED suits or special lighting
  • Number of sets and total time on site, including costume changes
  • Travel for the whole team, and premium event dates in December and festival season

Tips for booking dancers

  • Match the style to the event: Latin, hip-hop, classical or themed shows each set a very different tone
  • Short and sharp works best — two 10-minute show blocks beat one long performance
  • Ask about a guest workshop: dancers teaching your guests a routine is a guaranteed highlight
  • Check floor space, ceiling height and changing facilities with your venue in advance
  • Watch showreels on artists' profiles and message the act directly with your date and venue
How much floor space do dancers need?

As a rule of thumb, a duo needs roughly 4 x 4 metres and a team of four 6 x 5 metres or more. Share your venue details when enquiring so the act can tailor the show.

Can dancers perform to our chosen music?

Often, yes — existing shows are set to fixed tracks, but many acts create custom choreography to your music for an additional fee and enough lead time.

Do dancers need special lighting or staging?

Not necessarily: most acts perform on a clear dance floor with the venue's lighting. LED shows work best with the lights dimmed. The act will advise after seeing your venue details.

What do event dancers cost per person?

Roughly €200 to €400 per dancer per event is a realistic from-price, with group shows priced as a package. Agree the final quote directly with the act — no commission.
